Study in France counselling
Many programs, especially at Master’s level and in business or engineering schools, are offered entirely in English. However, French is very useful for day-to-day life, part-time jobs and full-time roles. You can start in an English-taught program and gradually build your French skills during your stay.
Public universities generally offer very affordable tuition compared with other major destinations. Living costs depend on the city but are manageable, especially in student towns outside central Paris. For visa purposes, you must show at least 615€ per month, but we help you estimate realistic expenses based on your target city.
For most long-stay degree programs (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), Campus France is a mandatory step before the visa application. For short-stay language or training courses under 90 days, you typically apply directly for a short-stay visa without Campus France. We confirm the correct route based on your course.
Refusals often relate to unclear finances, weak academic justification or documentation gaps. In many cases, it is possible to address the issues and re-apply or explore alternative intakes. We analyse your refusal reasons and guide you on a realistic next step.
A valid long-stay France student visa and residence permit generally allows you to travel within the Schengen Area for short trips, subject to rules at that time. This makes weekend and vacation travel to neighbouring countries much easier compared to non-Schengen destinations.
We offer guidance on OFII validation, basic registrations, bank accounts and common settlement questions. While we cannot replace university or local authorities, we ensure you do not feel lost in your first weeks abroad.
